Agenda: Today we discuss the Common Sense that Thomas Paine made with his pamphlet by the same name. Then we'll take on the role of King George III and write his response to Paine. If we have time at the end of class, we'll view the John Adams miniseries take on the signing and reading of the Declaration of Independence. Homework: Finish reading Ch. 2 Sect. 4 and answer Review Questions 1-5.
